Where is Emanate Counselling based?
I am an online service so provide therapy nationwide. It doesn't matter where you or I are based, apart from living in the UK for insurance purposes.
What services do you offer?
I provide a range of therapy services tailored to individual needs. I primarily work within the person centred therapy model, but I also offer cognitive behavioural therapy, Bereavement and loss therapy, mindfulness techniques, and stress management. Each session is personalised to address specific concerns and promote overall well-being.
How do I schedule a consultation?
Scheduling a consultation with me is easy. Simply contact me via email or use the contact form on this website.
What can I expect during a therapy session?
During a therapy session with me, you can expect a safe and confidential environment where you can openly discuss your thoughts and feelings. I will listen attentively, and work collaboratively with you to explore, recognise and express your emotions and promote your personal growth.
Is it Confidential?
Yes, online therapists are bound by the same ethical and legal confidentiality obligations as in-person providers. They also use encrypted video services like Zoom.
What equipment will I need?
You need a device with a camera and microphone (smartphone, tablet, or computer) and a stable internet connection.
How many sessions will I get?
Therapy isn’t an exact science and there isn’t a one treatment plan that fits all. I will work with you to find the best way to use sessions to help get you through the issues you are facing. Most clients have between 6-8 sessions. You can choose how frequently you have sessions and you can also choose to stop therapy at any point.
